Paul Mas Rosorange

£14.25

Pale amber color, on the nose, intense notes of candied citrus fruit, orange peel and quince. On the palate, a pearly texture with subtle tannins, this wine will offer you fruity notes. The freshness of a rosé combined with the character of an orange wine. RosOrange takes the best of both rosé and orange wine worlds. A subtle co-vinification of rosé and orange wines, bringing a complex and singular savoury wine. The Cinsault, Grenache Noir and part of the Grenache Gris are pressed before fermentation upon receipt of the harvest. The Macabeu, the Vermentino and the second part of the Grenache Gris began their fermentation on marcet and were pressed halfway through fermentation. The 2 juices are then assembled to finish the fermentation and then the wine ages in stainless steel tank for 2 months.

Ideal as an aperitif, but also with spicy dishes such as Indian or Asian cuisine. For an “out of the box” pairing, try it with a soft cow cheese.
