Micro Cosme, Grenache Pinot Noir

£16.95

Inviting nose with notes of strawberry compote, gingerbread, heirloom rose, and a hint of souk spices, creating a complex and aromatic bouquet. On the palate, the wine offers a harmonious balance between the fruit-forward character of Grenache and the finesse of Pinot Noir. Flavors of ripe red berries, almond, and subtle cinnamon spice are complemented by a soft, rounded mouthfeel, and a smooth and persistent finish.

Ideal with a variety of dishes, including grilled meats, stews, tomato-based recipes like ratatouille, and dark fish such as tuna or salmon.

This wine is produced using a solera system, blending wines from multiple vintages starting from 1999. The Grenache grapes, sourced from the Roussillon and Rhône regions, are fermented in concrete vats, while the Pinot Noir from the Languedoc undergoes fermentation in stainless steel to preserve its purity. The use of wild yeasts and traditional vinification techniques contributes to the wine's vibrant and complex character.
