Gorgo Bianco di Custoza
£15.95
The history of the land that lies between the city of Verona and Lake Garda, a family’s passion and the culture of a place translated into a wine. This is Custoza: the emblem of the family’s identity.
Made with organically grown grapes, this light straw-yellow, fragrant white has aromas of honeysuckle and tropical fruit. The fresh savory palate doles out ripe yellow pear, green melon, and pineapple. Dry, harmonious, and fresh; slightly aromatic, with a crisp acidity in balance with a savoury, mineral and persistent body.
Ideal as a delicious aperitif, or with first courses such as pasta or soup, seafood salad and vegetarian dishes, as well as raw and cooked fish dishes and white meats.
Roberta Bricolo is currently at the helm of the family company, founded by her parents Alberta and Roberto in 1975. Since its earliest days, it has been devoted to the production of the classic wines of this wonderful corner of the Veneto, between Verona and Lake Garda, the quintessential produce of this region. The territorial identity, the enhancement of the varieties and the guarantee of the healthiness of the grapes are the ideals that inspire the Company to produce wines that are faithful to their roots but with modern, eclectic appeal. The estate, with its young and dynamic staff, gained visibility and respect in the competitive oenological world in the Verona region by offering wines of which exquisiteness was the distinctive feature.
