For a spirits’ enthusiast who wants a go-to premium bourbon, Four Roses Small Batch is a perfectly balanced everyday bourbon that elevates every moment to a special occasion.
In 1884, Paul Jones Jr. moved his successful business to Louisville, Kentucky, where he opened an office in a section of historic Main Street called “Whiskey Row.” He trademarked the name Four Roses four years later, claiming production and sales back to the 1860s. In 1922, the Paul Jones Company purchased the Frankfort Distilling Company. Along with this purchase came the rights to sell Four Roses as a medical whiskey during Prohibition. Thus, making Four Roses one of the few bourbon brands to survive Prohibition. Today, Current Master Distiller, Brent Elliott, was named Master Distiller/Blender of the year at the Whisky Magazine’s Icons of Whisky America award ceremony. Brent, to this day, plays an integral role in the growth & maintains continued passion for creating premium bourbons at Four Roses.
The people who work at the Four Roses Distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY and at the warehouse and bottling facility in Cox’s Creek, KY, continue the legacy that began with Paul Jones. Their passion for quality and pride in handcrafting an award-winning Bourbon is evident in the consistent and elegant taste that has become the signature of the Four Roses Brand.
