Complex nose of dark cherry, tomato leaf, celery, and pepper spice. A textured palate of fine graphite tannins supports complex dark cherry, and savoury spice flavours.
At the end of fermentation, 50% of the blend is aged in new French oak barrels and mature sur lie for 16 months.

Ideal with barbecued dishes, especially spare ribs, braised beef and aged hard cheeses such as Gouda.
