Familia Torres Pazo das Bruxas, Albarino

£16.95

Luminous and clear straw yellow colour with a clean and intense floral aroma (acacia honey) with deliciously ripe floral notes (pineapple preserves). The primary fragrance of the variety (Albarino) is distinctive and captivating. Rich and flavourful, with lush extract and an unctuous, seductive midpalate. Fermented for 16 days in stainless steel.

Ideal as aperitif or with raw, cooked, or grilled seafood, white fish and soft goat cheese.

In old country houses known as “pazos", surrounded by forests and vineyards, Galician witches conjured up spirits through magic and dance. And so, the sap, the lifeblood, coursed through the vines, filling them with vitality. Like the Albariño grapes that give
birth to this wine.
Founded in 1870, Familia Torres is widely regarded as one of the world’s most innovative wineries. They are also one of Spain’s leading producers of premium quality wines. Thanks to the investment that has been made in research and development in both viticulture and winemaking by the 4th and 5th generation members of the family, Familia Torres has gained an enviable reputation for their subtle blending of tradition with innovation. Famila Torres’ reputation for combining innovation, dynamism and a commitment to quality has put them, and Catalonia, firmly on the world map. Today they remain a wholly independent and family-owned company, which is now run by 5th generation of the family.
