Domaine Bousquet is a renowned winery in the Uco Valley, Mendoza, Argentina, established by the Bousquet family after their relocation from Carcassonne, France. The estate spans 240 hectares in the Gualtallary area of Tupungato, known for its ideal wine-growing conditions.
The vineyard’s sandy loam soil provides low fertility, promoting vine stress that results in elegant, rich wines. The desert-like climate, with dramatic day-to-night temperature swings, is mitigated by constant breezes from the Andes, ensuring optimal growing conditions. With rainfall averaging less than 8 inches annually, the vineyard relies on groundwater from Andean snowmelt for irrigation. These factors, combined with organic farming practices from the outset, give Domaine Bousquet wines their distinctive, authentic character.
Domaine Bousquet is a global leader in organic wine production, with a commitment to sustainable and regenerative practices. Today, the winery produces 4 million litres of wine annually, exporting 95% of its volume to over 50 countries. The estate ranks among Argentina's top 20 wineries for exports and is a pioneer in organic certification, making it one of the most awarded wineries in the world.
