Cherubino Ad Hoc Wallflower Riesling

£16.95

Almost transparent in colour, this wine shows great purity and refinement. A fragrant bouquet, with flavours of lemon peel and bath salts all carried along by a soft texture and long fine acid. The grapes were selected from various sites across the Great Southern and treated with minimal use of sulphur. To produce this wine, free-run juice was used to ensure the elegance and purity of flavour was maintained.

Ideal with grilled and roasted white meats, fish and shellfish, salads, and oriental-style dishes.

Ad Hoc is an assembly of varietal wines for any occasion, and each wine is sourced from its best-suited region in Western Australia (Margaret River, to Pemberton, to the regions of the Great Southern).
Cherubino and his wife Edwina (a fourth-generation West Australian) first bought a small plot of land in Frankland River in 2004, adding an adjacent vineyard and prime unplanted land a few years later. That home vineyard, named Riversdale after the original farm, is still Cherubino’s base and now the Estate counts vineyards in Frankland River, as well as one each in Pemberton, Porongurup and Margaret River, with a total area under vine exceeding 120 hectares. All the sites are managed sustainably, with no herbicides used, and minimal copper employed.
