Chateau Vieux Chevrol Lalande de Pomerol Grand Vin

£26.50

A smooth and elegant tannin structure, which begins with dark complex fruits with characters of cassis, blackberries, and black cherries. Ending with a long finish of warm spices and unforgettable cinnamon, liquorice, and white pepper.

Ideal with charcuterie, steak frites, haricot beans, lentils, and cheese such as Beaufort, Comté, and Manchego.

For three generations, the Chateau Vieux Chevrol family has pursued a precise objective: to let the wine naturally express the finesse and aromatic richness of our original terroir. The estate is in the heart of the right bank of Bordeaux, in the Lalande de Pomerol Appellation, very close by to the famous Pomerol and Saint Emilion appellations. The family now headed up by Michel Champsiex, have farmed the 21 hectares here for three generations, and the average age of the vines is now 35 years.
