Chateau de Passavant Anjou Blanc
£17.50
A dry unoaked white wine, with freshness brought by our schists. Anjou Blanc is vinified in stainless steel vats, which allows it to maintain a fruity and floral aroma of peach, pears, white flowers, and quince. It is a refreshing, charming and light wine. A true Loire white.
Ideal with salads, grilled fish and cheeses.
Château de Passavant is located south of Anjou in Haut-Layon. The vineyard, planted on a schist soil, has been managed in organic farming since 1998 and in biodynamic farming since 2011. Claire & Olivier Lecomte, partners within SCEA David-Lecomte, manage the estate since 1993. They represent the 4th generation of winegrowers leading the family chateau with the aim of offering always more original and natural wines while respecting the environment and the terroir.
