Bernard Moreau et Fils Saint Aubin Les Terres Blanches

£53.50

Bernard Moreau’s 2020 Saint-Aubin ‘Terre Blanche’ is an exquisite white Burgundy. This wine, crafted from Chardonnay, exhibits a refined nose with hints of citrus and floral notes. With a well-balanced palate, crisp acidity, and a lingering finish, with a concentration of fresh fruits, the acidity, the oak influence, and the mineral aspects all in perfect harmony.

Ideal with foie gras, Epoisses cheese, Roquefort, blue cheese, grilled lobster, langoustine, grilled and fried fish, and fish and chicken in cream sauce.

Alexandre and Benoit Moreau embody the 4th generation to operate the family estate. At the end of the 90s they took over from their father Bernard. They then represent the new generation of talented winegrowers from the Côte d'Or. Their vines, located in the communes of Chassagne- Montrachet and Saint-Aubin, are divided into 13 different appellations covering 14 hectares in total. While putting the vineyard in their hands, the sons continue the careful work instilled by their father. They work their magnificent terroirs using sustainable cultivation and their manual harvests produce superior quality raw materials. Vinification is done in French oak barrels over a period of approximately 12 to 20 months, depending on the plots and the vintages. Of very great purity, the Domaine's wines express their terroir well, with finesse and great elegance.
