The nose shows graphite and minerals, juicy black cherries. A hint of spicy oak plays a supporting role. The palate is softly textured, fresh and vibrant, the flavours of black cherry and earthy beetroot carried along by a fine long acid finish. Wild fermentation, aged in oak for 6 months.
Ideal with grilled and roasted red meats, pizza and pasta, casseroles and stews, mature strong cheeses, and charcuterie.

Larry and Edwina’s wine journey blends deep family roots and a passion for sustainable practices. Edwina's family, settled in Western Australia in the mid-1800s, planted the first vines in Frankland River in 1875. Larry, a first-generation Australian with a horticulture background, was influenced by his family's farming and winemaking traditions. Larry is an award-winning winemaker with international experience, consulting for other Australian brands. Their winery is located in the Margaret River region, known for its diverse geography and climate. Embracing organic, biodynamic, and natural practices, they focus on sustainable vineyard management, avoiding herbicides, and using fish, seaweed, and compost for healthy soils and disease-resistant vines. They grow all their own grapes and aim for minimal intervention in winemaking, focusing on producing naturally balanced wines.
