We at Wadebridge Wines would like to thank all our customers this year. It has been a wild ride but we have come out of 2020 feeling stronger and with optimism for the year ahead.
You may have noticed some changes to the shop, not the normal stacks of interesting oddities and seasonal offers down the centre and the occasional queue outside in the cold. Thank you for bearing with us and being so patient while we work to provide a safer experience for our customers without compromising too much on the level of service that we aim to provide.
Our website has certainly come on leaps and bounds in the past year. We are now capable of providing most of our range on line - be it for delivery locally in various lockdowns, click and collect from our shop or sending goodies up country to our regulars who have not been able to make it down this year. It is by no means perfect, and is constantly be tweaked and improved but it has come a long way in the past year and is something we are enormously proud of.
Our normal summer festivals were a no-go along with our Annual Wine Tasting in November. However, the support we received from people engaging with our "Shortlist" in place of the wine tasting was so heartening. We are so pleased that customers could enjoy our Christmas wine selection this year (all be it without the free tasting!).
Thad said, we feel immensely lucky and humbled by our position. We are extremely privileged to have been allowed to remain trading throughout the year when our trade customers and other local businesses have had one of their hardest years on record.
With 2020 now firmly in our rear-view mirror we look forward to a future of tastings, events and getting back to normal where we aim to provide our normal high level of service without too many restrictions.
Our best wishes for a prosperous year ahead.
Cheers!
A BIG thank you!
