Man Meets Mountain Malbec

This wine is a celebration of those who face up to, and conquer the challenges posed by nature as wine-makers did many generations ago when they moved into the Andes to grow wine where higher altitudes and meager soils produced the finest grapes. <br> <br> This wine is a classic, fruit-driven juicy Argentinian Malbec. <br> 3 months spent in old French oak.<br> <br> Part of the grapes are from Vistalba, the rest is from Medrano. 20% of the grapes come from extremely old vines (80yrs +), which helps to characterize the wine by its perfumed fruit and violet notes on the palate.<br> <br> Ideal with all barbequed and grilled red meats. <br>
