Domaine Lebreuil Savigny Les Beaune
Côte de Beaune Pinot Noir
£34.95
A refined, fruit-forward red showing vibrant strawberry and dark cherry aromas. The palate is juicy yet focused, with a subtle mineral backbone, lively acidity, and soft, supple tannins. Ten months aging on lees in oak brings a gentle hint of vanilla and added roundness, complementing the wine’s natural freshness. Elegant and approachable now, with the structure to develop over 3–10 years.
Ideal with grilled or roasted meats such as chicken, pork, lamb, or beef. It also pairs well with duck, charcuterie, and earthy dishes like mushroom risotto or lentil-based plates.
Domaine Lebreuil has been crafting wines in Savigny-lès-Beaune for three generations, now led by Jean-Baptiste “JB” Lebreuil. Widely admired for both his character and his wines, JB brings international experience from Argentina and Australia to his work in vineyard and cellar.
The domaine follows a thoughtful, sustainability-focused approach inspired by biodynamics, with year-round cover crops and minimal soil disruption. Certified Haute Valeur Environnementale from 2021, Lebreuil produces wines that balance a newly supple, approachable style with the structure and ageing potential Savigny is known for.
